Think Spring Stamp a Stack

My team and I held our annual spring stamp a stack at Norlo Park on Feb 21st…well….it sure didn’t feel like spring as we heard reports of a snow storm heading our way!  Saturday morning, there wasn’t anything on the ground, so we decided to go for it!  We had 45 guests join us to create some springy cards.  As the wind kicked up and snow started falling, we kicked it into high gear and did some quick stamping!

If you attended….we are extending ordering until Wednesday, so you’re not too late!  Simply email me with your order at jodybrechbill322@gmail.com!

Here is what we created:

accessories:  white embossing powder, project life framelits, pop dots

this look is beautiful and simple….simply color embossed areas with blendabilites and allow to dry.  As many of you were finding out, after 45 people used our markers, some of them were drying out.  These markers are alchohol based and that does happen very quickly.  It’s super important to make sure that you put your cap back on and make sure it’s tight when you are using them at home.  You’ll find that with your personal use, they will not dry out as fast as our does when we do large events.

Some of you asked why they aren’t refillable….this would increase the cost significantly….as well as change the way they are made.  Stampin Up did consider this, and decided to make the price point fairly low so when you have a dry one, you simply purchase a new pack.  Most comparable markers are about $7.00 per marker and don’t come in a set.  Ours come in a set for $11.95 giving you the shading options you desire in our exclusive SU colors.  Ours runt less than $4.00 per marker.     Someday, we may offer individual markers for sale, so when one is dry you don’t have to buy the entire pack again…..but they are so new, that we need to see how things go initially.

Think Spring Stamp a Stack

Despite the obnoxious snow, we had many friends brave the elements and join us for our annual Think Spring stamp a stack on February 15th.  At this point, we are so over it, we just needed a day out to stamp!  For those of you who opted to stay home….we made you to go kits! Ask your demo for your packet.   Our next event is our Retirement Party in May…there better not be snow on the ground for that one!
