9 weeks of Christmas

I think this may catch me up…although, we are having a debate in our house as to how many days there really are until Christmas.  Neither of us wants to actually count- so we’ll continue to dispute it.  Besides…do we REALLY want to know how many days it is.

Here is a fun little ornament or package topper I swiped from someone’s blog.  I’ll send you right to it for instructions, which totally gives her credit.

This uses some leftover scraps from the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin’ pack….after I made my 16 cards!  Another reason to sign up for this class!

11 weeks of Christmas and I’m still behind!

I know….it’s really 10 weeks till Christmas, but we are still catching up.  So here is week 11….hang in there with me!

Stampin’ Up! came out with silicone cookie stamps this year.  I don’t cook or bake, so I didn’t buy them.  BUT….I saw the stampers and they are HUGE!  AND….I had some of the stamped cookies, made with SU’s own recipe and HOLY MACARONI….are they ever good!

So, if you’re looking for a great gift of the handmade variety- check out our Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps!

12 weeks of christmas and I’m late!

oh dear.  I just realized there are LESS than 12 weeks until Christmas and I am late getting started!  Each year, I post a project during the 12 weeks until Christmas…hoping to give you some ideas, get the creativity flowing and, well…dangit..cuz I like ya.

Here is week 12 (I am going to double up sometime to get us back on track) But, we’ll start with this one:

This is an adorable little box that was part of a recruiting promotion in July.  I earned one and made it a few weeks ago.

Stampin’ Up! has an ad in next month’s Woman’s Day magazine and to encourage folks to start crafting again, they are offering the box to EVERYONE!  The cost is $19.95 and comes with almost everything you need to make it.  All papers are precut and full instructions are included.  The only items it won’t include is:
pines/pointsettias stamp set
stampin’ write markers
adhesive
glue gun
paper cutter/paper snips
corner punch

Everything else is in the kit……This box is an ideal gift and is fairly easy to make.  Contact me today if you wish to order!

Merry Christmas!

IT’S CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful stampers and scrappers.  I hope you are having a blessed CHRISTmas with all your loved ones.  I know it can be a crazy day at our house with farm chores, the madness of gift opening and visiting our families…..but we try to slow things down a bit and remember that “For unto us a child has been born, unto us a son is given.”  Isaiah 9:6.  Happy Birthday, Jesus.

And, here’s a little gift for you:
This scrapbook wallet was a huge hit at my last class!  It uses 3 regular business sized envelopes with the ends cut off.  You can decorate and put pictures or even recipes on the inserts.  It’s a really neat idea…and not just for the holidays.

I totally scrap lifted this idea and I’ll give you the link below.  I always find it easier to see full color, step by step tutorials then to try and read written instructions.

12 Weeks of Christmas- week 1

Wow!  That’s all I have to say about that.  I am in frantic holiday mode, so this baby is short and sweet.

I found this capital A- dorable gift card holder on the web and quick like a bunny, I made one for myself!  Too cute not to share!  I’ll send you straight to the source so I don’t have to recreate the instructions.
