Happy Birthday!

I have a son and he has a “flip the calendar” birthday.  It gets me every year for the past 15 years…..we’re cruising along through January just fine and then…..you flip the calendar page and BOOM!  Oh man, today is Jr’s birthday!  GAH!!!!  You would think I’d plan better, but a “1st” birthday really sneaks up on ya!  Anyway, now that he’s older, he doesn’t really want a party, he’s busy with homework, farm chores, boyscouts and lacrosse, he just really wants hamloaf and some cake.  We had a very low key celebration last night with his special dinner and Friday we’ll do a little snowtubing with friends.

I am also laptop-less….it’s in the hospital and I’m praying that he gets to come home today with a clean bill of health.  Needless to say, I will be very behind on posts, because my stampin’ life is stored on that thing and I’m doing a little via my phone and desktop, but it’s tricky!
