Summer Camp Day 2 Replay: Hot Foil System Tips, Tricks & a Little Halloween Fun!

Missed Day 2 of Summer Camp? Don’t worry—you can still join the fun!

Today’s class was all about exploring the brand-new Hot Foil System, and I had an absolute blast and a giant MESS UP sharing just how easy it is to add gorgeous foiled details to your handmade cards and paper crafting projects.

I’ve learned a few things to do and NOT to do along the way and I’ve shared them with you! Do NOT forget to add your cardstock to your foil or you will end up having a very pretty shim 😉 Now, this does not affect your plate in anyway, but I did want to see how I could get it off. I tried rubbing alcohol and it was “ok” with a LOT of elbow grease. I heard from a friend that 100% Acetone will take it off, but I went with good ol Mr. Clean Magic Erasure! Worked like a charm and my plate looks brand new 🙂
