Hawaii Day 6

We were supposed to hike Diamond Head Crater with our Stampin’ Up! group today, but we needed to see the Big Island!  We hopped on a plane on headed to Hawaii on Thursday night.

The vibe in Hawaii is so much different…more easy and laid back…not the hussle bussle of Waikiki….more our style!

We flew over top of the volcanoes, saw some lava tubes opening up but we missed the real deal by a few days.  There is a no fly zone of Kilauea right now, so we took a 6 hour tour around volcano national park, a coffee plantation and to the black sand beach.    We hopped on a plane and flew back to Oahu that night.  WHEW!  We were super tired!

Bongiorno from Roma!  A little hitch in our giddyup with meeting our guides, but it went fine after that!  We all really enjoyed visiting the Colosseum.  Our guide was just amazing.  With a strike going on, the Colosseum was fairly dead, so we didn’t have to deal with crowds and hussle/bussle. \     Next…
