Hawaii Day 5
This was a humbling day…..Pearl Harbor.
It was lightly raining and a beautiful rainbow showed up….
There really isn’t a whole lot you can say….WW2 was before my time and I have learned about it in history, but it’s very humbling to visit the sight of the attack and realize how many men gave their lives- so young and without a clue what was to happen that morning….
the memorial is perched over top of the sunken Arizona
all that you can see above water
the oil still leaks from her hull everyday since 1941
