Free is good, right?
We all love free, don’t we? I just figured out how to make this work using My Digital Studio. We have desktop wallpaper….for you….for free. I know February is 1/2 over, but hoping we get a new one for each month.
Go to my website here CLICK HERE and you can download Jan and Feb. It will be saved in MDS under Embellishments –> Designer kits. Make sure you note the name of it so you can find it again.
Here is the tutorial I found helpful from www.mydigitalstudio.net:
You’ll notice that the 6 different files are named by the size of resolution (1280×1024, 1600×1200, 1680×1050, 1920×1080, 1920×1200, and 2560×1440). Any of those files will work as your desktop, but if you want to find the file that will fit the best, you will want to figure out your computer’s resolution here. If one of the file sizes we have provided doesn’t match your screen resolution exactly, just pick the one that is closest. Continue to edit your wallpaper, then export your image as a JPG.
If you like the images as they are, you can simply download them for use with Other Applications.
Once you have your final wallpaper in whatever size you would like, now it’s time to set it as your desktop wallpaper. If you are on a Windows computer, simply navigate to where your image is (wherever you exported your altered image, or wherever you downloaded the Other Applications images), right-click on it, and choose set as desktop background. If you are on a Mac, here is a good list of instructions you can
follow.
Hope that helps you as well….I played with the size of mine and it turned out pretty well. It tell you that it may be blurry if you try and make it bigger, but I did anyway and it looks great.
