Our Little Yellow House is located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1985 and is part of our family owned/operated dairy farm, so you will be in the country for sure!
This little house has been disrespected by renters many times in its life and we have all grown weary of constantly having to “fix ‘er up.” We decided to turn it into a short term rental/craft/retreat getaway space and we hope it’s filled with lots of love, laughter and memories. It’s been 7 long years and finally, after a terrible contractor and covid, we are finally finished and ready to host some friends!
Our house is about 30 minutes from Gettysburg, PA (quaint/historic town with lots of history, good eats and plenty of fun stores/shopping)
We are close to Caledonia Park, Michaux State Forest and Norlo Park (plenty of hiking, biking and mountain activities). Norlo Park is minutes away and hosts many softball tournaments and is also a gorgeous wedding venue plus lots of walk paths!
Chambersburg offers many resturants in close proximity but- the most important question- how close to Walmart? About 10 minutes!

Little Yellow House (LYH) offers a cozy space, comfortable for 6-7 guests. We have tables/chairs in the craft area for up to 8 guests. House has heating/air conditioning and WIFI
KITCHEN:
- fully equipped kitchen for cooking/preparing meals. BYO food/snacks
- 2 crock pots, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer with ice maker
- toaster oven/air fryer
- 1 Keurig (byo pods)
- 12 cup coffee pot (filters provided) byo coffee/creamers/sugars
- kitchen table with seating for 4 (extra chairs available)
LIVING ROOM:
- big comfy couch
- large screen TV with streaming capabilities
MASTER BEDROOM:
- downstairs master includes all linens/comforter/pillows
- sleeps 1 or 2 people
DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM:

CRAFT SPACE: this space is a converted garage! Simply open the garage door and load your items into the room! No steps involved.

Simply keep a tally over the weekend on the purchase sheets, settle up at the end of your event using cash, check, Venmo or PayPal.
RENTAL INFO
Typical rental is Friday through Sunday. Check in 12pm on Friday, checkout 4pm Sunday
FEES: since we are a new venue, we are offering special introductory rates on all bookings in 2024!!!(retreat must be held in 2024) Prices will be evaluated for 2025.
- $320/night plus tax for up to 6 or 7 (if 2 guests share 1 king bed)
- Maximum guests staying over night = 7
- $150 cleaning fee/weekend
- Additional days may be added to your weekend for $200/night.
- Discount offered for midweek or full week rentals – contact us
- Deposit/signed contract will reserve your booking
- Final payment due within 28 days of your event.
- Cash, Check and Square (convenience fee will be added) are accepted for deposit only.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation policy will be listed in your booking/reservation contract.
