You’ve seen the Occasions catalog….you’ve fallen in love with the Occasions catalog….everything in it is just made of awesome!
I wanted to start highlighting our kits! They are kind of a sleeper in the catalogs, because you almost need to see them in person to see how cool they really are! The So You kit is one of them! It is PERFECT if you are a big instagrammer!
Check out this video to see more more about this super cute book:
I was asked to join the Creative Blog Hop by my upline, Cindy Fodor. You can check out her post at stamp the love. I was honored to be asked to participate! I was asked to post, answer a few questions and then nominate 2 more fellow bloggers. I nominated Sondra Hammond and Brianna Thompson. Their posts will go live a week from today (February 16th), so be sure to check them out!

1) What are you working on? Well, a thousand different things! Right at this moment, I am prepping 3 make n takes for my stamp clubbers (if you check back, they will be online this week), always updating facebook and my blog and I am working on the Perpetual Birthday Calendar as well as our gorgeous Build a Bouquet project kit from the Occasions catalog:
should look like this when I’m done….but my glue gun and I aren’t getting along right now….I need more glue sticks (and maybe even a new gun…this one is at least 25 years old)
2) How does your work differ from others in your genre? This is a tough question to answer, because I use so many other demonstrators for my inspiration! I am definitely a card marker first….I love creating cards. I do enjoy making gift/3 -D items, but cards is where it’s at! I tend to like clean and simple…I really struggle to make those shabby chic/vintage looking cards!
3) Why do you create what you do? I do love my cards and I love sending cards. I create projects for my classes and my clubs, but my favorite thing is to give back when I can. I have certainly been blessed with my business and I try to figure out ways that I can bless others with what I create. My customers gather together every October for Stamp Out Breast Cancer night where we make cards for Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance. I create birthday and thinking of you cards for the shut ins at church and I just added a night to create cards for Sweet Grace Ministry, an organization to support those who have endured miscarriage, stillbirth and neo natal death.
4) How does your creative process work? I’m a copier…a blatant plageriser….I love Pinterest, Stampin’ Connection and SplitCoastStampers!!! I just do a search for the stamp set I want to use and voila! Tons of ideas spilling out before me! I am not creative or crafty by nature, but Stampin’ Up! sure makes me look good! I bow down to you creative geniuses….and bless you for being willing to share your beautiful creations with us!
