By Your Side “kit together”

I mean really? Aren’t these just the cutest? I’ve been waiting and waiting for the By Your Side to come back in stock to focus a class around it, but doggone it (see what I did there?) it’s too stinkin’ popular! We all love it so much that it’s sold out at least twice!

Now, that we have a fabulous Kits Collection sale this month, I thought, let’s go for it anyway. Many of you MUST have this kit if it’s sold about again, right?

All of our Kits are on sale in October for up to 30% off. While By Your Side isn’t available at the moment, it WILL be coming back in stock, but we do have loads of other kits available.

Cottage Greetings Card Kit

138377G

The Cottage Greeting kit really spoke to me when I first saw it in the catalog….it’s different than what I usually create.  First….it has the super thin wood sheets that you mount on the card.  Wasn’t sure how they’d work, sonce they could be bulky.  However, they are super thin and look really cute.  Second, these cards are 5×5.  A fun size and not the norm….but they do require the additional postage.   They turned out so pretty, who minds a few extra cents?

So, I purchased the kit with my first order out of the new catalog …opened it up to use it and….dang….no stamp set!  I totally forgot to order it.  Now, having made the kit with the matching set, I realize, you could use any stamp set you have that fits on the pre printed pieces.   That makes this kit a great value at $16.00 for 15 cards and envelopes.   You can easily add the set for $16.00 clear mount and it really is cute, I’ll surely use it for other cards.

See….it’s cute, right?

Yesterday, my set arrived and I was ready to play.  I timed myself to see how long it would take to create the cards.  Of course, I was interrupted multiple times by other things, but I made each set of 5 cards in about 15 -20 minutes.  That’s prepping, stamping and assembling.    You will need to provide your own ink for this kit as well, but everything else is provided.  I used Delightful Dijon and Memento Black.

And…there you have it….5 congratulations cards finished and the kit is empty!

Don’t overlook this amazing kit…it’s a great value and the cards are adorable.   The only stamping you do is to add whatever sentiment you wish!  Add a little ribbon, some bling, attach and your done!  The envelopes even have fancy, silver foil liners…..your recipient will be in awe of you!
