Happy August! My vacation has me so far behind! It was an unplanned trip to Colorado…and I am I ever glad we grabbed the kids, my bestie and headed on a family vacation!
So…back to reality! Here is what we created at Just Cards class this month:

Another class that was shifted due to my vacation! As you read this, my husband and I will be on our way to Thailand! I still can’t believe it! Due to this trip, there will NOT be a movie monday this week, I’ll catch up when we return!

My team member, Deb Kane, created this lovely card. It was a favorite in class
the dots in the center are raised and shiny- create this look for using the fine tip glue pen after stamping…allow to dry.
I cased this from my upline, Cindy…this was another favorite at class!

Saw this from Mary Fish and swooned over the colors
This is such an easy technique, but creates a wow: simply ink up your clear block and use it like a stamp!
the adorable little accents are easy to create: color a white accent with a copper sharpie!

Just Cards is held the first Tuesday of each month. We create quick, simple and fun cards! If you are new to stamping…this is a great class to get your feet wet! If you are seasoned stamper, this is a great class for some quick cards. Class is only $10.00 and includes envelopes…it’s a steal!!!
Here is what we created: (all of these cards are cased from pinterest)
I created a “mask” for this card by cutting a rectangle out of scrap white cardstock. It was over layed on my whisper white and pool party, bermuda bay and night of navy were sponged through the rectangle.
I cased Stampin’ Sharon for this fun fold card using the envelope punch board…which is retiring….and it is on sale!!! Here is her VIDEO

Just Cards was tons of fun this month….this class is held the first Tuesday at 10am and 6pm. It’s a great beginner class, and the seasoned stampers love it too, because it’s quick and simple! We make 5 cards that are very easy to recreate on your own!

This was my swap for our quarterly meeting…found it on pinterest
This card came from my upline, Cindy….loved the grunge and the dragonfly together! Dragonfly is cut out of shimmery white cardstock, so he has a little bit of shimmer
I received this card in a swap, but I’m not sure who created it. I added the sentiment.
This was a project at my upline, Connie’s January meeting.
This peekaboo panel card came from Dawn Griffith. It’s very simple, but creates a wow factor.
