Woohoo! Did we ever have some WOW projects…..that were made a little more difficult when my cutting blade in my stampin’ trimmer went dull AND my 2 1/2 inch circle punch broke! Thank goodness for some great team members who had what I needed and class went a little more smooth for the evening group!
Here is what we created this month:
This simple but WOW card came from Lydia at Understand Blue. We used the upcoming embossing folder called Woodland. Guess what? You can order it TODAY!!!
Emboss the image on Pacific Point cardstock and then sponge the raised image in Whisper White. Start with small amounts and add more as needed to get the amount of white on your “birch” trees. We then took a blender pen and using Pacific Point ink, we shadowed one side of the tree to allow it to stand out against the background. You will need to go over it numerous times to get the look you want…especially as the glycerin in the pen and ink dry on the paper. Such a simple technique, but yet, offers a WOW factor! I forgot to add the Real Red ink pad to my supply list, but that’s what I used to stamp the little cardinal from Festival of Trees.
This fun pop up card came from Julie Davidson….she has a great tutorial on her blog. You can find it by

3 3/8 x 5 mint macaron embossed with butterflies

This beautiful, yet tricky Triple Tier Slider card came from Dawn Griffith. She does a great job explaining it, so hop on over and check our her video
