Twelve Days of Christmas- Day 12

I found this ornament on Dawn Griffith’s blog and thought….it can’t be that easy, can it?  It’s called an artichoke ornament and it really is that easy!!!  All you need is an ornament,  1 inch circle punch, scrap paper and glue dots (you could use hot glue, but that’s pretty messy!)  And with gluedots….the kiddos can help!   It’s super pretty and shiny in real life since I used silver foil paper and silver dsp from Winter Frost paper pack.

Dawn has a video, so just copy this link to watch!

My wish for you all is a very Blessed Christmas….may you all find time to enjoy our Savior’s birth and slow down and relax…..

Happy Holidays from my family to yours!

My children have had nameless stockings for years…..which means it’s a crapshoot Christmas morning  to remember who’s is whose!  This year, I won the alphabet bigz dies from my upline and decided to surprise the kids with NAMES on their stockings!!!!  A little glimmer paper and Mr Big made it happen!

This is an oldie but a goodie….been awhile since I made some and I totally forgot how!   Thank goodness for Pinterest!!

I followed this tutorial: the only thing I changed was my strips of paper are 3/4 instead of 1 inch.

now…I did add an extra “layer” to make it poofier (is that a word?  spellcheck isn’t happy)  So, for my extra layer, I took 4 strips of 3/4 x 4 and folded them and held them together with a brad, then layered it inside the bow with a popdot.

Beautiful on all your gift this year!

Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

This ornaments is even prettier in person and very quick to make.  I used the largest stamp from Daydream Medallions and stamped it in Crumb Cake.  Then stamped the smallest image in Crumb Cake and but both out using the matching framelits.  I used Crumb Cake designer paper- 12 x 1 1/4 and scored every 1/2 inch.  I accordion folded that strip and glued the ends using Tombow Multipurpose glue.  I added an Antique Brad in the center and put it all together using a little hot glue.  Crumb Cake seam binding to hang it with and Viola!  a gorgeous ornament or even a gift topper!

Here I am, late again….but better that than never, right?  Here is hot cocoa pouch (or any drink in a pack) and it’s magical….when you pull up on the ribbon, the packet magically pops out the top!  This is super easy to make.  You can get 2 out of 1 sheet of paper!
