Three very cool things

I found both of these ideas on the internet and it’s proof that you should never throw anything away!!

I LOVE, Love, love our baker’s twine….but mine has unraveled into a big, hot mess.  Then….I found this and I thought: PERFECT!   It’s one of our empty button containers!   Just punch a hole in the side with the cropodile and add an eyelet.  I used the spool from an empty ribbon roll and wound the twine around it….stuck the end through the eyelet and BAM…..easy, peesy, mac n cheesy.  Not sure who came up with that, but thank goodness for creative people!

Then one day I was on splitcoast and low and behold…..I found this- the second cool thing!  Holy moly…it uses an empty button case too!

I used the scallop circle for mr. big and a piece of very vanilla cardstock, which I layered onto a piece of cardboard (from the designer paper packs).  Ran both pieces through mr. big and then ran them through again using the lattice embossing folder.
I ran a piece of cardstock around the outside edge of the container and adhered with sticky strip.   I punched out a 2 1/2 in circle from very vanilla and added chocolate chip daisies from the triple layer punch.  Ran that entire piece through mr big with the lattice folder.
The container is attached to the large scallop circle using sticky strip.  I  made a bow out of our 1 1/4 inch grosgrain, added a giant brad and attached with a glue dot.  Of course, everything needs a little bling- so I added rinestones to the flower centers and filled it with mints for a special hostess.
Too stinkin’ cute!
The third cool thing is that I feel the need……the need for a giveaway!  So, it’s blog candy time!!!!
