I’m back! Incentive Trip Day 1

Hello my lovely stampers!  I’m back online and ready to blog!  We returned last Sunday, but with jet lag and my host appreciation event last week, it was a bit hectic.  I’m finally taking some time to tell you about our wonderful trip….

Taryn and I packed up and headed to Baltimore to catch our Philly flight on Friday- 5/20.  The flight to Barcelona was overnight, which was a good thing, cuz I could freak myself out thinking about flying over the ocean!  It was 8 hours from Philly plus a 6 hour time change and we arrived bright and early on Saturday morning!  I sure was glad we came in a day ahead- I heard about a few demonstrators who missed their flights, in turn, missed the ship and had to fly ahead to Italy to catch up with us!

We couldn’t enter our hotel yet, so my friend Sondra, her husband Mike and Taryn and I headed off to explore Barcelona!

 

 

 

 

Finally, our hotel was ready…..time to take a little rest and get ready to meet my stampin’ peeps for tapas.  It was such a long day, but just wonderful to enjoy walking around Barcelona and enjoying the sun- especially after so much rain this spring!

When we returned to our room after dinner, this surprise awaited us:  champagne and dessert.  It was so strange….not from Stampin’ Up!, not from my husband, not a mistake per the front desk.  Apparently, it’s manager’s choice…they choose someone on each floor and gift them.  We were the lucky ones!  Taryn enjoyed her tiramisu for late night snack AND breakfast!

After a demonstrator breakfast, we were heading to the port to catch our ship!
