WOW Wednesday- February
WOW! We made some cool stuff this month! If you are a seasoned stamper, I would encourage you to check out WOW class. This is my class that’s stepped up from what we’d normally create. Most of the time, I like to make cards….3D items are fun, but I’m a card maker by heart. I also try to create projects for my classes that YOU guys would be able to recreate at home. Fairly simple, not terribly challenging, but still a beautiful card. Stampin’ Up! is super good at helping us create gorgeous paper crafts with out being terribly creative. I am NOT creative….not a bone in my body! But with Stampin’ UP’s help, the interweb and thousands of crafty demos, I am able to share idea with you all! Yes, I pinlift most of my projects!
But, WOW class is where is stretch….do some fun techniques, make projects that are a little more time consuming…and it’s fun! Fun to see what you can do with ink paper and stamps!!! Now, don’t let WOW scare ya! I am here to help you along and just cuz it’s wow…doesn’t mean you can’t do it if you are a newbie! Sometimes, a wow project isn’t hard, but still over the top! Here is what we made:
This card is a direct case from Debbie Henderson. I saw it online and thought it was just perfect! It’s called Split Panel. And while it’s not “hard,” it is different and has that WOW factor! To see a video tutorial CLICK HERE
This beautiful card I saw on Dawn Griffith’s blog. I loved the Blackberry paired with the glimmer paper. I knew this had to be part of our “wow” class! I used the “congratulations” stamp from February’s Paper Pumpkin kit! Loved the font this month!
This technique is called “no line watercolor” and I’d been wanting to try it out. Found this card from Marissa Gunn, I believe and thought, we’ll give it a shot at wow class! A Movie Monday will be provided on this card next week. Here is a VIDEO TUTORIAL
Thanks so much for checking out Wow Wednesday! Hope to see you in March!!!
