Precision Base Plate
Many of you have been asking me about the precision base plate….do we need it? why do we need it? I, personally, have not used it…yet. I do have it and as I get more time to play with my thinlits, I’ll be trying for sure. We did talk about it at my upline meeting and the general opinion is- yes, it makes cutting intricate thinlits much easier. The cut items are coming out of the dies much easier and they don’t seem to have as much “fray” around the edges from the cut paper.
One thing I did learn is, the precision plate is just for intricate thinlets, not our regular framelits. You can actually damage your framelits with this plate.
