Love this class….it’s so much fun planning and preparing! We had lots of stampers attend…..a rainy saturday morning means guilt free stamping! Congrats to Mary Catherine who won the door prize and Linda M who will be taking home the grand prize of a $25.00 gift certfificate! That will be perfect for shopping in the new catalog!

First card buffet of the year! I just love a good buffet! I prep 10 cards and guests can make which ever cards they choose and as many as they wish! Best calorie free buffet in town!

A little housekeeping first: my last movie monday I issued a giveaway! Congrats to Tracy L and Patty P! They will be receiving wink of stella pens! Way to go, ladies!
I held my quarterly card buffet mid July….I just love this class! I have 10 samples and you get to pick and choose what YOU want to make and make as many as you wish! We had lots of fun! In fact, it was so fun…I carried it over for Mini Stamp a Stack night! They got to pick and choose their own cards as well!
Here are the cards we had to choose from:
I love the simplicity of this one!
fruit stand designer series paper is cut 4×4…cut in 1/2 diagonally and attach corners to 5 1/4 x 4 piece of whisper white. Stamp sentiment in the middle.
this card is a direct copy from the catalog….don’t forget that our catalog is full of ideas!
i used white perfect accents and colored them with a black sharpie!

This is a host only set….so…..if you really love it, you just might have to have a party 🙂 again, copied straight outta the catalog!

Time to say goodbye to some old friends…..so we had a big send off at Card Buffet in May! These sets are around until May 31st, so it’s not too late to give them a good home 🙂
Card Buffet is awesome, it’s probably my favorite class to prepare for! I have 10 card samples and this event is all about you…make what you want, when you want and as many as you want! I try to have one each quarter, so our next one will be using NEW items from our gorgeous new catalog going live on June 1st? Did you reserve your copy? No? Whatcha waitin’ for?
Here is what we created:
This stamp came from Paper Pumpkin April 2016. I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink. I also used the “negative” branch from the kit and sponged with Crumb Cake ink. Then, I sponged the bird pieces with Marina Mist ink for a little dimension.
To achieve the “double” swirl…I only inked up about 2/3 of the stamp with Smoky Slate ink. Where the 2 images meet will be covered by your sentiment.
This look is very easy to achieve…simply ink up the “splash” with crushed curry ink and stamp three times in succession. Each image will be shade lighter.

Time for my quarterly Card Buffet! I started holding class the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it became fairly popular! Stampers need a break from holiday madness and some even have family visiting and they all come! Card buffet is the best calorie free buffet around! I have 10 cards prepped and ready….YOU pick and choose what to make and how many! It’s all about what you want and need!
