Spooky Cat does Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  I had a chance to play in my studio this week and Halloween was on the menu!  I get so wrapped up in Christmas, that I forget about Halloween.  I think because my kids are bigger….and decorating, pumpkin carving and trick or treating are not happening anymore…I forget to enjoy this fun season!

I posted my Halloween sampler on my FB page….and seems perhaps some of you are still interested in playing with Halloween projects, so I will do better next year!

Here is what I was creating in my studio this week:

This was soooo fun to make!    It is a copy from Pinterest.  I wish I would’ve planned a bit better to have a class around this, but, time just got away and I didn’t have enough supplies.  But….I’ll put in on next year’s “to do” list!

I also pin-lifted a bunch of ideas…Spooky Cat is the only Halloween set I purchased, and I just love the coordinating Kitty punch and Spooky Nights designer paper too!

My pics are tricky since I used Basic Black cardstock and a black background…but you get the idea.

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you are finding some time to play with your Halloween goodies!!!

Stamp Out Breast Cancer- Ribbon of Courage

Every year, for….I don’t even know….maybe 12 or 13?  I have a stamp our breast cancer event.  It’s very small and intimate.  I designs some cards and ask you all to stop in and help assemble them.  We then donate all the cards to Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance to use for folks going through treatment for breast cancer.  It seems like such a simple thing…but those cards mean a lot to many people.  And the fact that we are creating them, touching them, putting a piece of ourselves into them…well….that’s a powerful thing!

Here is what we created this year:

We used the Ribbon of Courage set designed by million dollar achiever, Patty Bennett.  I love the ribbon, the sentiments, the font…just makes everything come together.  This set is a keeper!!!

We also used all shades of pink I could find- from Powder Pink to Flirty Flamingo to Blushing Bride and even Rose Red.

I received a message from CVBCA to let me know how much they loved and appreciated our cards!

Thanks to April and her daugher, Reece, Mary Catherine and Lisa for joining me to assemble cards!

Watercolor Christmas

I had a play day in my studio the other day.  They are few and far between…but I need to do it more often.  It’s good for me to stamp just for the heck of it!  I got out the Watercolor Christmas set, loaded Pinterest and make a huge mess!!!   Here is what I ended up with:

So much fun!  Hope you enjoyed!

Stampin’ Blends are coming!

I am so happy to announce that our new line of alcohol markers will be available on November 1st!!!  That is so awesome!  Demos were allowed to pre-purchase and I have been playing in my studio!  I am so in love!  I loved our last line which, sadly, had some defects, but this line…they assure us has tested for evaporation and longevity and we are very happy with the results!

Check them out!

Not only will they be available to you soon…but we are giving some away!!!  Make sure you go to Stampin’ Up’s facebook page and like/comment or share their post about the blends!   You have until October 31st!

We are also offering an exclusive kit and stamp set geared toward the Blends….but it is while supplies last!  So, if you gotta have it….you gotta get it!  I hope to have a class in December based on this kit/set/blends!  More info coming!

I can’t wait to share our new Stampin’ Blends with you!
